Marmite pasta – go on, you know you want to!

It’s 16p a portion, it’s loved by children and adults alike. And if you wanted any more persuading even Nigella likes it (though her version is posher!)

Serves 4.

Cook 400g Smartprice pasta
stir 75g buttery spread and a heaped teaspoon of marmite through until each piece of pasta is coated. Taste and add a touch more marmite if required. Enjoy!

  1. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm nom. Although I like it more on the heaping tablespoon side of Marmite and with spaghetti cause I enjoy the twirling.

    • wow really LLG, a tablespoon? Is it very very marmitey?

  2. if you mix up the marmite and butter/spread first it goes through the pasta easier 🙂 also I do this method for marmite on toast/crumpets etc

  3. I think I’m allergic to Marmite or at least the large amount of yeast it contains :*(
